ABOUT ME
Having spent nearly 30 years in the design industry, designing exciting projects and leading the most talented creative teams sometimes you just need to switch off.
I absolutely love Scotland, its gorgeous locations, its people and even sometimes it’s precarious weather.
I also love spending time capturing some of these locations through my enjoyment of photography and spending time digitally retouching these captured images to provide a digital art perspective.
LOCATION
Staying most of life in the Central Belt of Scotland,
I have the luxury of visiting beautiful locations, whenever I wish. Not only discovering beautiful landscapes or discovering historical landmarks I
have the opportunity to experience and capture
that moment.
Being inspired by the historical architecture of
Stirling, or the ancient Dunblane Cathedral of the
pre-Romanesque period to the wild and stormy fishing ports of the East-Neuk in Fife, provides a canvas portrayal worthy of any artist.
METHODOLOGY
Being educated at Edinburgh College of Art and spending some time drawing and painting, I decided
on a design course but never left my love for drawing or painting.
With my profession in design I now use my skill set in retouching to adapt my photography to producing creative digital art giving a style perhaps reminiscent of a famous master -
I wish... well perhaps hope.
